An Important Announcement For Current PCMA Subscribers
Primary Care Medical Abstracts Announces New and Expanded Features
Effectively immediately, we are expanding the features provided by PCMA. Here are some that we’ve added – and there are more coming:
More Reviewers! More Points of View
In addition to Rick Bukata and Jerry Hoffman, we’ve added a variety of well-known Primary Care authorities who will periodically take the reins – Henry Barry, Gary Ferenchick, Steve Brown, Cynthia Kegowicz and others, who will add their unique insights and perspectives.
More In-Depth, Bottom-Line Focused Commentary
We’ve cut back somewhat on the number of articles we review every month to allow for more in-depth commentary regarding the impact of the papers reviewed, particularly in context with prior studies on the topic. The focus will be on take-home messages that will reinforce or change your practice.
New -- Interviews with Key Authors
On articles of particular interest, you'll hear direct interviews
with the authors of the papers. You will get their insights and commentary regarding the contribution of their paper to the
understanding of key issues in Primary Care Medicine.
New -- PubMed Access Numbers and Links
Each abstract provides information regarding the availability of free reprints, the author's e-mail address and, now, the PubMed article ID number along with a link to facilitate obtaining the original articles.
New – The CME Credits are NOW FREE!!
Earn up to 4 AMA PRA Category 1 CME credits at no additional charge – take the brief quiz on the internet and print your own certificate or send in your completed quiz by fax or mail. Either way, earning your CME credits to recognize the educational effort you’ve made with PCMA is now FREE.
