The EM:Prep program was developed to facilitate and assist physicians certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) in mastering the contents of the articles chosen each year by ABEM for inclusion in the Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment (LLSA) program and examination. LLSA participation is a requirement for eligibility to take the ABEM recertification (ConCert) examination.

Upon completion of the EM:Prep program, participants will be able to recall information pertinent to the practice of emergency medicine through a discussion and analysis of current literature as listed in the EMCC LLSA articles with the goal of passing the emergency medicine LLSA test.
